These Terms contain important provisions about user responsibilities, platform limitations, and dispute resolution. Please read them carefully.
Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and SimplyJob governing access to our websites, applications, and recruitment services. By creating an account or using SimplyJob, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into this agreement. If you use SimplyJob for a company, consultancy, or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation.
Our role as a recruitment platform
SimplyJob provides technology that helps candidates discover opportunities and helps employers, recruiters, and consultancies manage hiring. Unless expressly stated otherwise, SimplyJob is not the employer, recruitment agency, or representative of users who post jobs or apply for them.
We do not guarantee the identity of every user, the accuracy of every listing or profile, the availability of a role or candidate, an interview, an offer, employment, or any particular hiring result. Users are responsible for conducting appropriate due diligence before making employment or commercial decisions.
Accounts and verification
Provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it updated. You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting your credentials. Do not share an account in a way that defeats role-based permissions or security controls.
We may request identity, business, or authority verification, especially for employers, recruiters, and consultancies. Verification helps reduce risk but is not an endorsement or guarantee. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
User responsibilities
Candidates
You are responsible for the truthfulness of your profile, resume, qualifications, work history, and application responses. Apply only where you have a genuine interest and the right to work or pursue the opportunity.
Employers, recruiters, and consultancies
You must have authority to post each role and process candidate information. Job descriptions and communications must be accurate, lawful, non-discriminatory, and clear about material conditions. Candidate data may be used only for legitimate recruitment purposes and must be handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable employment and data-protection laws.
Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- post false, misleading, expired, discriminatory, unlawful, commission-only, or disguised marketing opportunities without proper disclosure;
- request payment from candidates in exchange for a job, interview, offer, or placement through deceptive means;
- impersonate another person or organisation, misrepresent qualifications or authority, or create fraudulent accounts;
- scrape, harvest, sell, or use personal data outside legitimate recruitment purposes;
- upload malware, probe security, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, or use automated access without permission;
- harass users, send spam, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or violate applicable law; or
- use SimplyJob or its AI features to make unlawful discriminatory decisions.
Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant SimplyJob a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, display, adapt, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service in accordance with your settings and our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit the content.
SimplyJob’s software, branding, design, databases, and original content are owned by SimplyJob or its licensors. Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, you may not copy, reverse engineer, redistribute, or commercially exploit them.
AI-assisted tools
AI-assisted features may help draft resumes and job descriptions, parse documents, recommend matches, or support recruitment decisions. Outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You must review outputs, confirm factual claims, and use independent judgement before publishing or acting on them.
You remain responsible for your inputs and use of outputs. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information unless it is necessary and you are authorised to do so.
Availability, third parties, and paid services
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain or improve SimplyJob. Service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, security events, or circumstances outside our control.
Third-party links and integrations are governed by their own terms. If paid features are offered, the price, billing period, taxes, renewal terms, refund rules, and applicable limits presented at purchase will form part of these Terms.
Moderation, suspension, and termination
We may review, restrict, remove, or preserve content and may warn, suspend, or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate suspected misconduct, or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to appeal through our contact channel.
You may stop using SimplyJob at any time and request account deletion. Provisions that by nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—will continue to apply.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
SimplyJob is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SimplyJob will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, loss of opportunity, data, profits, or goodwill, or for conduct of another user. Our aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid SimplyJob in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 1,000 if you paid nothing.
Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, courts located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh will have jurisdiction over disputes. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue.
We may update these Terms to reflect service, business, or legal changes. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them. If you do not agree, you should stop using the service.
