Refund eligibility depends on the service purchased, its usage, the timing of your request, and any mandatory rights available under applicable law.
Scope of this policy
This Refund Policy applies to eligible paid services purchased directly from SimplyJob, including subscriptions, job-posting packages, recruitment tools, credits, and other premium features. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and any pricing or order terms shown at checkout.
If you purchased a SimplyJob service through an authorised third party, that provider's payment and refund process may apply.
When a refund may be available
You may submit a refund request within 14 calendar days of the initial purchase or subscription renewal. A request may be eligible where:
- you were charged more than once for the same transaction;
- the amount charged differs from the confirmed order price;
- a verified technical failure caused by SimplyJob prevented meaningful access to the purchased core service and we could not resolve it within a reasonable period;
- a renewal charge occurred after a cancellation was successfully completed before the renewal date; or
- a refund is otherwise required under applicable law.
Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee approval. We assess each request using account activity, service usage, transaction records, and the circumstances provided.
Non-refundable services and charges
Except where required by law, refunds are generally unavailable for:
- job posts that have been published, promoted, viewed, or received applications;
- resume database access, candidate contacts, sourcing credits, or other credits that have been used or expired;
- completed recruitment, consultancy, branding, screening, or customised services;
- subscription periods already used, including partial months or unused time after cancellation;
- purchases made with promotional, trial, bonus, or complimentary credits;
- dissatisfaction with candidate response, job performance, hiring outcomes, or other results SimplyJob does not guarantee; or
- accounts restricted or terminated for violating our Terms of Service.
Subscription cancellation and renewals
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not ordinarily refund the current billing period. Unless the order terms state otherwise, paid access remains available until the end of that period.
You are responsible for cancelling before the renewal date shown in your account or billing confirmation. Deleting an account, removing a payment method, or not using the service does not by itself cancel an active subscription.
How to request a refund
Submit your request through our contact page from the email address associated with your SimplyJob account. Include:
- your name and registered email address;
- the transaction or invoice reference;
- the purchase date and amount;
- the service or plan purchased; and
- a clear explanation of the issue, with relevant supporting evidence.
Never send a complete card number, CVV, banking password, or one-time verification code. We may request additional information necessary to verify the account or transaction.
Review and decision
We aim to review complete refund requests within 3–5 business days. Complex cases, payment-provider investigations, or missing information may require additional time. We will communicate the outcome using the registered email address or support channel.
If only part of a purchased package remains unused, we may offer a proportional refund, service credit, replacement access, or another reasonable remedy where appropriate. Any alternative remedy will be explained before it is applied.
Approved refunds and processing time
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. SimplyJob typically initiates the refund within 7–10 business days after approval, but your bank, card issuer, payment gateway, or UPI provider may take additional time to display the credit.
Taxes, foreign-exchange differences, and payment-provider fees will be handled according to applicable law and provider rules. If the original payment method cannot receive a refund, we will contact you about an appropriate alternative.
Payment disputes and chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in account restriction, recovery of associated costs, or other action permitted by law.
This section does not limit your right to dispute an unauthorised or incorrect payment with your bank or payment provider.
Statutory rights and policy updates
Nothing in this policy excludes consumer or contractual rights that cannot legally be waived. Where applicable law gives you stronger refund, cancellation, or remedy rights, those rights will apply.
We may update this policy when our products, billing practices, or legal obligations change. Material changes will apply prospectively, and the effective date above will be revised.
